Your first visit
We’re so excited for your family to join us this Sunday. When you arrive let the greeter know you’re new and they’ll make sure you get to the right place, which will be at the end of the hall by the banner that says “Kids”. You’ll fill out a short visitor’s card for each kid (so that we have important information like your name, number, and any allergy info.) After your card is filled out, we’ll have you drop off your precious child with our children’s director.
New places can be tough on little ones. You’re invited to spend some time helping them feel more comfortable. You’re also invited to drop and run if that works best for your family. Our volunteers are experts in all things kids. They know that sometimes just walking away is what’s needed. Not a problem.
Keep your phone on you. If there is an issue (there rarely is), they’ll send you a text to let you know.
Of course if you’d rather keep your little one with you during service, not a problem. It’s not uncommon to see a couple of kids in the service.
parenting with orange
We’re excited to be partnering with Think Orange out of Atlanta to help us with our children’s program. Think Orange has been around for almost 15 years, providing innovative and creative materials to churches. They provide us with an abundance of resources to provide the best and most dynamic ministry possible. They also give us resources to equip you, the parent, to help your child grow in their relationship with God.
Meet the director
We are lucky to have Kathryn Vuicich heading up our children’s ministry. Kathryn has been working in churches for 15 years now and has experience working with adults, teens and little ones. She has a passion for a safe, well organized children’s ministry that introduces kids to a God who is absolutely crazy about them.
Every child is unique and different. If you have any questions or concerns, or ideas on how we can serve you better, please let us know.
