Visiting a new church can be fun. It can also be a little stressful. We’ve provided this little guide to make it easier.
WHAT should I wear?
I don’t know why, but we get this question a lot. I’d say we’re date casual. Whatever you’d wear on a casual afternoon date, is perfect for here. It’s up to you. If you’re a shorts and Birkernstocks girl, rock on. If you like to class up it a bit with a sports coat over a v-neck. Nice. We care far more about your heart and you connecting with a God madly in love with you than anything you could wear.
What about my Kids?
We’re happy to offer nursery and pre-school services during worship. Parents are invited to drop their little ones off in the nursery/ preschool area, where they’ll get to play, color, snack and learn about God’s amazing love for them.
In this season of our church, we have the older kids in worship with us. We believe there is value in our children worshipping with us. We are also confident that our pastor is able to connect with them as well. Make sure you visit the kids table to pick up a kid’s packet.
WHAT WORSHIP IS LIKE?
Worship begins at 10am and lasts about an hour. You’ll want to arrive a few minutes early to grab a cup of coffee. You’ll have a chance to sing or just enjoy some good music, hear some helpful teaching, and connect with God.
WHERE can I find you?
We are meeting in the cafeteria at Baldwin Elementary in Meridian, near the corner of 1826 and Hwy 45. The school is on the right, after you turn onto Meridian Park. You can’t miss it (we put out a lot of signs). Take the first right in the school. Parking is on the left. There will be some flags guiding you to the church entrance.
